Overview
Taroteur is a French Tarot scorekeeper app developed by Bepaw Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles data.
Data Collection
We do not collect any personal data.
Taroteur does not:
- Require account creation or sign-in
- Collect names, email addresses, or other personal information
- Use advertising services
- Use cookies or similar tracking technologies
Anonymous Analytics
Taroteur uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous usage data such as:
- App opens and session duration
- Screen views
- General device information (OS version, screen size)
- Approximate geographic region (country/city level, derived from IP address)
This data is fully anonymous — it cannot identify you personally. No names, email addresses, or player names are ever transmitted. We use this information solely to understand how the app is used and to improve the experience.
We also use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports on iOS and Android. This includes stack traces and device information to help us fix bugs. No personal data is included in crash reports.
Firebase Performance Monitoring collects anonymous performance data such as app startup time and screen rendering speed to help us maintain a smooth experience.
Firebase In-App Messaging may display informational messages within the app (e.g., new feature announcements). These messages are delivered by Firebase based on anonymous usage conditions — no personal data is used for targeting.

Data Storage
All data (game scores, player names, and settings) is stored locally on your device only. We have no access to this data. If you uninstall the app, all local data is deleted.
Third-Party Services
Taroteur uses the following third-party services:
- Google Analytics for Firebase — anonymous usage analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics — anonymous crash reporting (iOS/Android)
- Firebase Performance Monitoring — anonymous performance metrics
- Firebase In-App Messaging — in-app informational messages

Children's Privacy
Taroteur does not knowingly collect information from children. The app is a simple scorekeeper with no online features.
Data Sharing
The "Share Results" feature allows you to voluntarily share game scores via your device's native share sheet or clipboard. This is initiated entirely by you and no data is sent to us.
